June 21: Tetrapods Unite

On June 21--our anniversary!--we ate lunch at a lovely little cafe in Knightstown on Valentia Island. Then, we went in search of the elusive tetrapod. Supposedly the tetrapod was a creature that existed 365 million years ago, and in 1994 a scientist found its tracks on this fairly desolate, although beautiful, island in southwestern Ireland.
The Knightstown cafe where we ate, and where Alita et al bought us lovely coffee mugs as a souvenir of our anniversary.

These are the "actual" tetrapod tracks. Impressive? We didn't think so either.
